LAPD shot a man in south Los Angeles while allegedly stealing an SUV, immediately killing him. Later the same night, the pigs shot and killed Christopher Hunter at the seen of a fight in Santa Monica. People quoted by the Chronicle refute claims that Mr. Hunter was armed.
